Columbia University Medical Center and its partner institution Weill Cornell Medical College, have run patient oriented Stroke research for more than 25 years. Starting with Columbia’s multi-site NINDS Stroke Data Bank in 1983, our institutions have been continuously engaged in epidemiological investigations, biomarker studies, outcomes research, and phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical trials in all aspects of stroke treatment, prevention, and recovery.
