Tracking Your CPAP Use

myAir Sleep Apnea App

The myAir sleep apnea app is an online support program provided by ResMed, the manufacturer of your CPAP device. If you register for it, the program will automatically send your CPAP machine data to your computer or smartphone. This allows you to track your CPAP use and progress. For example, the app shows you each day how long you used the CPAP on the previous night. It gives you an estimate of how much or how little apnea you may have had and provides information about the seal of the mask. You get an overall score for the night, from 0 (worst) to 100 (best). You can also sign up for coaching messages by email or text. myAir is included with your CPAP device at no cost. myAir is not a component of the Sleep SMART study. Nonetheless, we wanted to let you know about it as some patients find it useful. If you are interested in myAir, you can go to myair.resmed.com to learn more about it or to register, or you can download the app on your smartphone. ResMed posts their privacy notice online.
